Brooks FastForward Crossback Sports Bra
Material: 82% polyester, 18% spandex
Price: $34

The FastForward bra is designed to give runners substantial support while still offering good breathability and airflow. The mesh on the sternum area and straps of the bra were designed for breathability as well as style, and the straps are thin where they cross in the back, allowing for a lighter feel and a comfortable range of motion. The bra’s rib band is relatively thin, lightweight and does a great job of absorbing sweat.

The FastForward can also be adjusted using the straps and clasp in the back, just like a normal bra, yet sturdier, so you can find the fit that suits you best. Brooks classifies the FastForward as a medium impact bra—its adjustable style makes it more supportive than a typical sports bra, but for larger-busted women, some of the Brooks’ high impact bras may better.

The best part of the FastForward bra is the breathability—it doesn’t stick to your skin like other bras. After running in this for over 50 miles, no chafing was experienced and it was rarely even noticeable. Additionally, if you can’t shower after a run, the mesh straps are stylish enough to pair well with an open-necked tee so you can head right out on the town.

This bra is very reasonably priced, considering its support and quality. Comparable bras run closer to $60.
