Body Glide Sun
Price: $10
Weight: 1.5 ounces

Body Glide is known for its anti-chafing sticks—many runners swear by it. The other Body Glide products are worth a try as well because of their light weight and easy application that keeps your hands grease-free. I checked out the SPF 30 Sunscreen balm recently and was pleased with the smooth feel and lack of fragrance. This is a straightforward sunscreen that doesn’t evaporate or drip. Before my run, I applied it to my forehead, shoulders, chest and neck—it didn’t drip into my eyes and I could see it on my skin until the end.

I’m a fan of hands-free sunscreens, as I don’t like having slippery digits if I’m carrying a handheld or trying to tear open a gel. Oftentimes, when using a spray, sunscreen gets in my mouth or eyes. The Body Glide Sunscreen balm avoids all of these inconveniences and adds the bonus of anti-chafing to the outer armpit areas if you’re running in a tank top (for women, the sports bra line near the armpit can get burned and chafed, so the Sunscreen balm may be particularly helpful). The Sunscreen lasts for 80 minutes.

I’d like to see a smaller application stick for the face from Body Glide, as getting an even layer of sunscreen around my nose and mouth was a bit difficult because of the wide size.
