Father’s Day is June 17th—it’s not too late to wow the trail-obsessed dad in your life. Here at Trail Runner, we gathered our favorite items, from accessories to athleisure to nutrition, just for dads on the run. Happy Father’s Day!

Bose Soundsport Free: Wireless Headphones
Price: $200
Bose’s Soundsport Free allows dad to blast real music (not that crap on the radio nowadays) on the trail without getting tangled up in wires. The earbuds offer up clear, clean notes and thumping bass, fit comfortably and stay locked in on the trail, despite their small size. Compared to Apple earphones, Soundsports have a softer feel and shut out much more ambient noise. The Bose are also advertised to be sweat and water resistant and tout a battery life of five hours, perfect for more adventurous trail runs—or drowning out the 7,259th loop of “Let It Go ” from Frozen.

Trew Superlight Nuyarn Merino Pocket T
Price: $70
Material: NuYarn® Merino Wool
Athleisure for fathers: Fathleisure? This shirt is a nice transitional piece—at the intersection of athletic apparel and technical gear. It can be worn on impromptu runs as well as out to dinner with friends, sometimes on the same day! It’s versatile, stylish, super comfortable and hangs off the body well. It’s washable and doesn’t shrink, so baby puke comes right off! Best of all, the soft merino wool fabric doesn’t smell after use.

Lululemon Surge Shorts
Price: $68
Material: Four-way stretch, sweat-wicking Swift fabric
Lululemon takes on men’s running? It might seem strange, but these shorts are a serious hit amongst the editors here at the Trail Runner office. Super airy and light, the 4″ update to the Surge puts these at the top of the pile for summer running. The liner is a unique boxer-brief style with a light amount of compression that features a surprisingly secure phone pocket along the side of the quad. There is also a rear nutrition pocket and two elastic loops along the waistband meant for hanging your shirt.

Burley Solstice Jogging Stroller
Price: $390
Dad-time or trail-time? Why choose? The Burley is built for keeping your kiddo comfortable while off-roading. The back wheels come equipped with ample shock-absorption to make your child’s ride first-class and the long frame of the stroller has adequate space for them to recline. Plus, the base storage easily fits excessive amounts of diapers, jackets and other dad gear. All the features make the Burley pretty heavy—bonus workout for the dadbod! Best of all, for the guys out there who don’t like instruction manuals (read: all dads,) Burley’s Solstice doesn’t require long study sessions of the user’s manual.

Montane Fang Shorts
Price: $60
Material: Aeroflyte QD; Inner brief and waistband: Apex-Dry Mesh
Our father reviewers all said they simply couldn’t have enough shorts. When the trails are your other family, clean, comfortable shorts are in high demand. The Fang shorts are a good choice for dad’s long weekend trail run. Their 30+ UPF coverage and 5” inseam provide some extra protection from the elements, while their super lightweight, non-abrasive material, with an air-scoop design in the back keeps the shorts airy and comfortable. A relatively snug fit prevents wanton snagging on branches when exploring wilder trails. A cleverly designed back zipper pocket also fits even the most massive smartphone, with room to spare.

Alaskan Salmon from Wild Alaska Direct
Price: $99 – 330
The lack-of-time struggle is real for dads and this company has figured out how to capitalize on that. Sustainably caught, wild Alaskan salmon is delivered to your door on dry ice. How cool is that? The fish is flash frozen at the time of catch, vacuum sealed in six- to eight-ounce serving sizes and delivered with free shipping. Invite your Saturday running partners over for a barbecue without waiting in line at the grocery store.

Nuun Immunity
Price: $55/8 pack

Having kids means germs, germs and more germs. Active dads know what a bummer it is to be set back for the weekend by a snotty playdate. The new immunity line from Nuun kills two birds with one tablet—you get your electrolytes and boost your immune system at the same time. It’s a win-win. Some key ingredients: Vitamin D, Vitamin E, Potassium, Echinacea purpurea, Ginger Root Powder, Elderberry Extract, Organic Turmeric Powder.
