Lake Sonoma 50 Mile runThe 2018 Lake Sonoma 50 Mile kicks off at 6:30 a.m. U.S. PDT on Saturday, April 14 and will travel out and back around its namesake reservoir. The route contains about 10,500 feet of climbing, and course records are held by Jim Walmsley (6:00:52, 2016), and Stephanie Violett (7:08:23, 2015). As has been the case for a while now, Lake Sonoma will be the final chance for a couple top runners to run their way into this year’s Western States 100 via the Altra Golden Ticket Series.

We’ll be livecasting the event on iRunFar’s Twitter feed. We’ve also gathered various news sources together in a simplified (i.e., comment free) Twitter feed below. Have fun following the race either way!
