Melissa Modec lives in Duluth, Minnesota. On October 18, 2014 she became an ultramarathon finisher by completing the Wild Duluth 50k Ultramarathon. Congratulations Melissa! Fun fact: At one point in the race when Melissa was considering dropping out, she thought about how that could be teaching her kids that it's okay to give up when things get tough. Then she went on to finish the race.
